Typical that we draw a PL side, it would have been nice to have had a few 'easier' ties for us to have given the kids a run out and get some experience. Hopefully we can do that anyway.

tbh I wouldn't be bothered if we gave our spot to Everton after they get knocked out

think this competition is on its last legs...feel that the Europa league spot will be taken from it within the next 5 years if the PL clubs have their way.
It's still a trophy to win & we have won this competition a few times so but cannot remember the last time we won it emphatically! probably have to go back to the Eighties for that!
The last couple of wins in 2001 & 2012, we barely won it on penalties!...

Ah, just remembered the 2003 version!...We beat the scum!
