Clyne has had no pre season, even if he's training I doubt he'll be back for 3-4 weeks after that.

I doubt Clyne will be fit, also Robertson deserves to start.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

oh yeah agree on Robertson.....i was referring to later in the season when Clyne comes back.

Remember when we saw Glen Johnson at left back?? And Flanagan a couple of years ago too. Clyne playing there could be another option.

Euston is shut all weekend. **** alternative journey for away fans and London Reds travelling up to the game. Locals better get their parking spots early

This is my favourite post of the summer. Helpful, insightful and suggestive.

I wouldn't play Klavan for this one. IMO he is not as good with movement as Lovren. He is better with a big striker he can see. Bring him on if Giroud comes on.

I'm really excited to see who Arsenal deal with our front three, did they play three at the back against Stoke? Are we likely to see Rob Holding starting with Koscielny?

Answer to my own question, they played

                      Mustafi, Monreal, Kolasinac

Bellerin and the Ox on the flanks. Koscielny could come in for either Monreal or the Ox. I think Wenger might even turn to a flat four for this game.

Seeing as we have the absolute perfect players against a back three (i.e. Mane and Salah hugging the touchlines) then I think you're right. Arsene won't risk it after what he saw against Hoffenheim and their world class 30 year old manager.
