The whole Egyptian FA and team is there though....him making a political stance may not have gone down too well either. No win for him

And going by the news stories on it, he was told that he was going to receive the honorary citizenship after he had arrived for the pre arranged dinner for the team.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

              Yeah, I suspect so too.

Egyptian FA shouldn't be getting involved in this sort of **** at all.

I am pretty sure he wouldn’t pose with Trump at any cost

If the story above is true and judging by Mo's agents tweets there might be something in this then I hope he retires from international football as

I think this something we don't fully grasp, the Egyptian FA seems to be old fashioned and highly political, we don't know what's going on but judging Salah's actions for us before, I am convinced he is being manouvered into this, even threatened to a point. Salah has up to this been exemplary in on and off field behaviour and conduct, I'll give him the benefit of doubt all day long.
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Mo Salah is considering quitting the Egyptian national team due to his unhappiness over what has happened in Chechnya, a source close to the Liverpool forward has told CNN

Salah feels exposed by what has happened in Chechnya, the source told CNN. The Liverpool star doesn't wish to engage in topics beyond football or to be used for anyone's political image

Good on him for taking a stand if true. I hope their FA gets their **** together and disengages with this political stuff.

I think if Mo wasn’t considering this then the Egyptian FA would continue to use their star player/s in political ways.... And yes I hope Mo quits

He won’t quit Egypt, no chance. He clearly loves his country and his people would not accept it for a start; as he said in those adverts 100m strong. They will realise this was a mistake and assure him it won’t happen again.
