Yeah, Hendo did really well in taking the ball off him. Klopp took Salah off and probably intended to so before the goal, I think he was preparing the sub before it anyway. So Klopp was clearly noticing, someone will have a word, but I wont advocate selling Salah though.Originally posted by Norbs View PostI posted it in the match thread earlier, watching the goal again, Hendo literally nicks it off his toes to pass to Firmino for the second goal.
Klopp will have a word I reckon* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

That's something that was always going to happen, with this "leave the pitch at the nearest touchline" crap. It's why the subs wear bibs etc...simple solution is to have bib-bags located at various points around the pitch. Grab a bib as you leave the pitch, problem solved.Originally posted by Norbs View Post

He's getting his sharpness back technically.
After watching the Redmen TV video with Maddock, I was watching Salah's off the ball defensive work, as this was discussed a bit. It is criminally underrated, and I was extremely impressed with it. When you realise why players press in a certain way, to force the ball elsewhere on the pitch, you can see how good Salah is at doing this.

When Klopp first came in pressing was very old school I thought, high intensity lots of players doing it but its evolved tactically since then. Its very clever to watch, the positions players take up channel the ball as you say into areas that help us turn over possession
I wonder if that change is due to Buvac leaving and Ljinders coming back, theres been lots of talk that Buvac left because he wanted to continue with a particular approach and Klopp and some of the other coaches wanted to refine the existing methodsBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

It'd be interesting if there was ever a comparison between our pressing, and Klopp's Dortmund. It really is a sophisticated approach.Originally posted by Lecter View PostOur tactical and technical pressing is immense

It also confirmed for me more about the number of managers who talk about pressing, but then whether they're able to implement 'instinctive pressing'. I have a feeling most can't.
