It's not really though. Cole's job was solely to score goals. Salah is a wide player with a different remit.

Anyways, I think Salah will be one of those frustrating players that you shout at the tv but he will rack up serious numbers. Brilliant start here, he will miss chances but at least he is getting in the positions to get these chances. Him and Phil work amazing together, movement of Salah and vision of Phil.Comment

Just remember Suarez in his first season and a half. He was just as wasteful and had a penchant for hitting wood.

That last stat is the eye catching one, and is the one that is very easy to see on the pitch too. He shoots a lot but he tends to hit the target more often than not.
If we had a new striker brought in and he started his first season with those stats we would be pretty happy with him, so to be getting that return from a winger in his first season with us is great going.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Yup and he could have easily had another 3 or 4 goals to add to that. I do think he will be frustrating at times but will rack up serious numbers come the end of the season.Comment

The best thing about Salah is how much he could still improve.
Obviously his finishing needs work.
I think he can also get a lot better at taking on his man.
His final ball also needs improving.
I think if he can improve in those areas even a bit he's going to be world class.Comment
