Thing I find amazing about that Salah performance is that it's his first hat-trick. Just goes to show how influential he is. Most strikers with his sort of haul end up being flat track bullies in certain games, getting 3 or 4 hat-tricks over the season, which is great, but you really want your strikers scoring in most games, rather than getting loads in a small number of games. He seems to give us a goal in nearly every other game. Outstanding player being used to his full potential by his manager.

This season he’s been Messi good, obviously he’d need to do it season after season to be anywhere near that level over the long term but I can’t see any reason other than a bad injury that he can’t get continue this over the next few seasons for us.
