Having this conversation with people today about POTY and trying not to be biased. Obviously KDB is a world class player and has been brilliant this season, as has Kane & De Gea. But for sheer impact Salah should win it without question IMO.

Can you imagine Salah scoring another few more goals, becoming top scorer in prem season ever all in his first season with us and not winning it! It just sounds ridiculous, he is not even a proper striker ffs!!

KDB has 7 Goals 14 Assists in league which is a fine tally, he is a fabulous footballer who plays deeper than Salah but he also takes all the corners and set pieces which add to his stats.

Salah is not a striker and has 28 Goals 9 Assists. He has had the most incredible season, some of quality of his goals and his runs are breath taking.

I would like to think that City winning the league won't be a factor like it wasn't when Suarez & Bale won it but they have breezed the league so who knows. Someone told me POTY vote was in Jan or Feb? not sure if that is true as how can you vote with months left to go in the season?

We all know KDB is world class but it is not about who is a better player in general, it is about who is the best player this season & who has made the biggest impact on the league. For me it is Salah hands down. I would also argue that David Silva has been as good as KBD, for me one of the most under rated players in the world. Anyways i think KDB will get it ahead of Salah, even though he shouldn't IMO. KDB has not got a POTM award this season, how many has Salah got? I think that is voted for by fans but it would seem crazy for KDB to win POTY without not getting a single POTM award.

Salah would be nuts to leave this summer. Manager who shown faith in him, tweaked his game , shoved our best player last season to the other side, the work rate of Bobby and Mane helping him post ridiculous numbers. Good luck getting Ronaldo or Neymar to do the donkey work.

Looks to be the difference in getting us to CL next season, which pays for his entire fee/wages.
