It's easier to keep your players when you have shown form like we are doing now, top four and a semi is terrific, with a team that is not fully built yet. I think Salah will be looking forward to hooking up with Keita as well, he moves the ball so well from midfield to attack that Bobby and Salah will thrive even more.

Yeah, Salah's shot conversion rate is in the twenties, i don't think anyone out of Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar et al. are anywhere close to him.

I'd love to see shot conversion rates for players like Kevin Phillips, Ronaldo, Suarez, Dave Allen and Steve Nicol during their wonder seasons.

I think the key to Mo staying beyond next season will be us delivering trophies. Look at Suarez, he left and won the lot. The main thing is the Klopp, he can deliver trophies and titles. He has this experience.

If we win the Cl and have a strong season next I see no reason why Mo would want to leave?

To who? Madrid? They will need to overhaul, as will Barca and Bayern.

Looking at Bayern and Madrid last night they need major surgery also

Both sides looked tired, old, somewhat slow and vulnerable last night

Barcelona have at least bought a couple of players in Dembele & Coutinho so you can imagine they will dip into the market again to strengthen

It looks a big rebuilding job for Bayern & Madrid

I was shocked at how poor they were. Granted, Bayern were missing Alaba, Coman and Vidal, but they were slow and predictable, Madrid were very fortunate to score two goals as well. Both sides have dodgy keepers and a heavy midfield.

Barca need to revamp their defence and they also need a couple of players in midfield.

Our dream scenario would be to face RM with Ronaldo out injured

You left Neuer off the injured list.

Bayern have invested in youth - Sule, Rudy, Coman, Tolisso, Goretzka and a lot of their key players are still young ish - Boateng, Alaba, Kimmich, James, Thiago.

Where they lack is pace and firepower - Robben, Ribery are old and Muller looks low on confidence with Lewa agitating to leave. Buying goals is hard as we have seen.

Real are a nut house and many of their mainstays of recent years Ronaldo, Ramos, Modric, Marcelo and Benzema are coming to the end of their time. In terms of youth they have bought Vinicius Jnr who is the biggest prospect out of Brazil, Asencio coming through and Isco still young. Varane, Casimero, Theo Hernandez are young and will become the new mainstays.

They need new players and I hope they don’t set their sites on Salah as we’ll be in for another summer of soap operas played out in the Spanish media.

Nah, I want him on the pitch when we stuff them. Will also be good for him to witness first-hand the new Don of football.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yes, Ulrich doesn't fill anyone with confidence, except the opposition maybe. I thought Tolisso didn't look much when he came on, Bayern will be OK and Real too, but with players like Bale, Ronaldo, Modric, Robben and Ribery on the wane, it's no easy task to replace them.
