Sorry Norbs, coincidentally was watching MOTD and they replayed it about 50 times.

Before the went on to Salah the diver.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I thought the same actually as he seemed to take larger strides to get there as he did knock the ball closer to the defender than he would have liked imo. *ducks for cover before Redreet takes aim *
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Imagine being in studio with Alan Brazil and you come across as the bigger hamroll.
                  Congrats Dean Saunders.

Like Paddy Power's advertising, everything they say and do and maket is designed to generate as many clicks as possible.

It's idiotic / controversial etc for exactly that reason.

It's cynical clickbait in its purest form.

Say something controversial, create uproar (light the fuse), stand well back and let the sparks go off and create a social media frenzee.
Just like that Adrian Durham waner provoking meatheads everywhere.

Like pretty much every single media/news organisation.

Click bait tends to mean where the hook misrepresents the content, or is phrased in a way as to solicit interest that wouldn't ordinarily exist, but I guess it can mean the actual content too. I've long suspected that the BBC use Garth Crooks in the same way. But either way, I'm not sure that there is harm in sharing that tweet and letting people come away thinking that Saunders in a moron and that talksport features stupid comments from morons. I don't think they've made any money from it. And if people are entertained by a shared paddy power advert, then again, it's not clear what is wrong with that and it's not click bait. All marketing is cynical by it's very nature.

Nah Garth Crooks isn't with it enough to be doing that. Not consciously at least
