I think Bob has a point TBH. If we win the PL next year I absolutely think Salah will want to move on. If not I think he'll stick around longer.

It's far from my philosophy in life, but for a professional sportsman at the highest level if you're not addressing new challenges what's the point?

Plenty of players are happy to stay where they are as long they’re winning trophies.

Some want a fresh challenge after a few titles.

It comes down to the individual. Who knows what Salah wants to do? It’s all just speculation.

I have no idea whether Mo will stay or go in the medium / long term and I actually doubt Mo does either at this juncture.

But that's not to say the point can't be put out there and reasonably debated.

I think the media story itself is kinda nonsense, not entirely sure how Salah could "reject" €150m moves when there have been no actual offers and the club wouldn't entertain any this summer regardless... however clearly to deny the possibility of someone like him wanting a new challenge at some point in the future would be silly, given what we've been through in the past with everyone from Torres to Suarez and almost even Stevie G on a couple of occasions.

What is so pleasing at the moment is that the vibe around the club is so good and this group still has so much more it can achieve together that I doubt that time will come with any of them as prematurely as it maybe had before. And if a Salah, or a Mane or Bobby does decide to move on eventually, having given us their best years and achieved real success, we have every reason to believe we'll jusr reinvest and come out of it even stronger. So imho losing players isn't really something we should be worried about any more, and that's a really nice feeling to have about the club for the first time in many years

We are now at a level where the grass isnt greener anywhere else in the world.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Our system and fellow team mates help him get the numbers he gets. Nit sure he would be as good if he does leave. In contrast I can see Virgil staying until the end.
