He doesn't have the Suarez "X factor" perhaps but he scores goals and creates goals for us at an incredible rate.

Others have said it but it's almost criminal how much he's taken for granted, losing him would be a massive hole to fill.

Him and Mane. In fact I'll go as far as to say they will probably never be filled. Thankfully our kids can worry about that.

I've mentioned it before, but his off the ball work is incredible. I watched some analysis on it prior to lockdown. Part of our game is to force the opposition to make passes to certain areas of the pitch. Salah is fantastic at getting the opposition to do that, so other players can win the ball back in those key areas.

He's not an explosive player like Suarez or Mane, but my goodness we'd miss him.

To say they will never be filled is a little melodramatic. Of course they are incredible but we've lost players throughout my supporting life and replaced them.

I never saw Keegan but he left and was replaced by Dalglish, we've seen, Rush, Fowler, Owen, Torres, Suarez and now Mane, Firmino and salah.

We've been blessed and hopefully will continue to be so.

Much as I love both them, I wonder would next summer be a good time to cash in on one. The following season we have the AFCON fiasco, and waiting any longer, their value may decrease drastically due to age. It might be a good time to sell one for club record fees and get in mbappe to replace!

He's taken over the Suarez rule, where by players are allowed to kick the **** out of him and won't concede a foul, it's crazy the number of times he's brought down in the box and nothing is given.
