He does miss chances, but so does every striker. His conversion rate and shots on target rates are also really high.

That's exactly it though. His conversion rate is so good because he does not miss as many chances as most other attackers and nearly all wingers. Is a bit of a myth that Salah misses more shots than most attackers or that he needs more chances to get a goal.

Was looking at some of his stats a few minutes ago and his conversion rate is world class.

This season in the PL, he has taken 112 shots in 34 games.

47 of those shots were on target, 33 were off target and 32 were blocked by a defender.

Of the 47 on target, 21 were goals.

In terms of other stats, he tends to have a higher % of successful passes made than most advanced attackers (he is on 84% for the league season after last night's game.), his number of tackles made and chase backs are high for an attacker, especially an attacker with such good attacking stats, and he has a 67% success rate in tackles made.

              Salah love in

Jürgen Klopp acclaimed Mohamed Salah as a ‘real role model’ after the forward took his tally to 30 for the season by striking in Liverpool’s 4-2 win at Manchester United on Thursday.

The Egyptian marked his 200th appearance for the Reds – a number remarkably achieved in fewer than four seasons – with his 124th goal, racing clear and netting with a trademark finish to put the outcome beyond doubt at Old Trafford.

Salah is now joint-top of the Premier League goalscoring chart with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane on 21 and is firmly in contention to claim the Golden Boot for the third time in his quartet of campaigns at Anfield.

Asked during his pre-West Bromwich Albion press conference where the No.11 ranked in terms of his best ever signings, Klopp replied: “Top – absolutely top, but it is not about signing. You can sign a player but then we all are responsible, so the player [is] obviously as well and the coaches, to make it happen.

“Let me say it like this: two players, there’s Robert Lewandowski, who I signed for a different amount of money years ago – well, not years ago, but it feels like – who had an incredible development from a different level, but an incredible development.

“With Mo, from the guy who scores from time to time and is a really good football player to this goalscoring machine is a massive development.

“He is an outstanding signing, but for sure the way he developed, the way he treats himself, the game preparation, the training preparation, training attitude and all these kind of things, that’s exceptional.

“That’s a real role model and he deserves all that, absolutely.”

Wow that's some love. And shows Salah's dedication is up there with Ronaldo's for looking after himself if Klopp is calling it out. Maybe he will remain elite for 3-4 more years.

                Sell him now!

Mo has been amazing since we signed him. I thought we'd never have anyone better than Fernando Torres. Then I thought that it was Luis Suarez who would never be bettered. But Mo has been on a different level altogether.

I dunno. Suarez was pretty amazing. Playing in a lesser team. Id say Suarez was actually better than Mo.

Your arguement goes back to Rush, Aldridge, Fowler and Owen... We have had an amazing knack for finding great goalscorers. I remember each time thinking how we could possibly survive without them.

That’s just it though, all of those great players and Salah’s goals per game ratio is higher than all of them. Plus he’s playing right wing.

                        FFS Salah 1.61 v 1.62 Suarez.

I hope Salah doesnt score in the next game now to prove me right.

Suarez was similar for Liverpool. Apart from a bite or two and a racist comment, he always seemed available.
                            Another MASSIVE game
