I get the feeling from little snippets from Virg that he's not entirely happy with Salah on the pitch. Dunno why, and obviously his quoted words can be taken either way, but in my head he sounds fed up.

Ok it appears VVD was influencing press / officials to let Salah speak, which reinforces my thoughts that it’s likely there is a lot of dressing room support for Salah, therefore this mess is going to get a lot worse before improving.

There may be a playing squad against the rest siege mentality developing.

Coming back to this, I don't agree. Mo could have been pissed off in private, had his arguments, demanded to leave, have an exit deal sorted before Brighton, made the announcement on the basis of it being time to move on, without going off on anybody, and got a glorious send off by anfield. Have his grumble once he's left, write a book or something. The drama was totally avoidable.
