You know your football but I've noticed you talk a lot of ****e.
Christ Dan....horrific is way over the top. He genuinely went for the ball and the keeper was brave and took a kick. I agree that it probably was a red but still feels harsh.

Re the game itself - copping a hammering away to City can always happen. It's early in the season so we'll move on and forget about it.

Our defence though - crosses and a weak centre! I wonder if there was anyone who could have helped with that!

Damn got in late to watch the game. Had avoided the score, flicked on and 3 down

Not read back through the whole thread to see how we are doing, but is it as bad as the score line suggests or did the sending off kill us?
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

When the midfield presses up field to try and catch the opposition out it really leaves the defence massively exposed. Need a proper anchor in front of them.

                  That's so fair weather.

I'll bet you weren't saying that after the Arsenal game.

This is just an off day isn't it. Fewer goalie long kicks, Mane going in with his head rather than his foot and Salah being a little more clinical would put a totally different spin on it. It's not like we were always going to be outplayed.
                      Really?

Just need to try and stop City running completely away with it. I didn't think it was a red card and it was pretty even up until then. These decisions happen.

That was then, right now we're a man down and getting hammered. Happens every now and again.

Leaving Coutinho out completely for City is arrogant, he's played games for Brazil ffs! Klavan starting at City instead of Lovren is arrogant. Relying on Trent and Gomez to be our starting RBs, well, there was no other option today, but it's not just today's game is it, it's the entire construction of our defence over the summer, to even be in this position and think we're gonna somehow be fine is arrogant, last year it was shambolic and we did absolutely nothing to change that, now we've conceded at least 9 in 6 games already.

We could have been in the lead are you mental, and how many saves did Mignolet have to make to keep us only 1-0 down?
