Rotating Goalkeepers

People are reading far too much into this IMO, a lot of clubs rotate keepers for cup games. It'd be hard to keep 2nd/3rd keepers happy if they didn't play a single game all season.
If we are hypothesising though
, I don't think Mignolet has Klopp's 100% confidence so it is worth giving the others game experience in case he needs to make a swap at a stage of the season or perhaps to focus the mind of Mignolet by giving the others game time...
I see no issue with myself, i'd like a dominant keeper though, hopefully Ward can step up to that.

I don't doubt that when Karius came in Klopp saw him as a replacement for Mignolet. He came in and played a few games last season but ultimately wasn't good enough, Mignolet replaced him and improved. In the games Karius has played this season he hasn't had much to do, in preseason he didn't show himself to be better than Mignolet. I can see the arguement about confidence but I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that Karius is better than Mignolet. The only thing he has the edge on him for is distribution.Originally posted by Pablo View PostIt feels to me like he wants to make Karius no.1 but something is holding him back.
Klopp is not afraid of making a tough decision, so this can't be a sympathy vote to keep everyone happy.
I also don't buy the line that goalkeepers need resting after only a few matches.
That leaves me to believe he thinks Karius needs easing in, and Champions League football is more suitable in style than the Premier League, to bed him into the team.
My suspicion is that Karius will take over in the Premier League at some point this season, once he's up to speed.
From the little I have seen of the two of them I would say Ward is the better prospect than Karius, I don't understand why we have kept Ward here if 3rd choice and only going to get a handful of games. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If we had a defence that worked as a unit and had a good understanding I don't think it would be much of a problem, but when our backline is unsettled it leads to mistakes and misunderstandingsOriginally posted by labourRed View PostPeople are reading far too much into this IMO, a lot of clubs rotate keepers for cup games.
