I don't mind teams carving us open with good football, that's part and parcel of the game, but it's really difficult to watch some of the clowning around at the back.

We played very well for 20 minutes in the first half. Then we lost control. I think this is going to take a wee bit of time with the way we play. It's a bit like Guardiola's City. Of all the teams in the PL, we play the type of football where it's the most difficult to get consistency, especially in this league. A lot relies on our ability to keep the ball and control the tempo of the game. It's a game of winning those 50/50 balls when you don't have it and I thought we did it okay most of the game today.

They got back into it after they scored an illegitimate goal. Sure, there were other moments of drama but at 2-0 up, conceding a bull**** goal in bull**** injury time in at the end of the first half changed the trajectory of the game.

For me the ball is still in play and still within reach of the striker when the goalie brings him down (after touching it), so therefore a pen. If he'd put it out, then no longer in play or within reach.
