Spartak Moscow away in the CL

Tuesday night your time. 445am QLD time

An away win here would be gold for us. I think we'll go with a strong X1 as it'd be nice to have early qualification sorted out.

Can't actually remember who's in & who's not in our CL squad so forgive me if I'm wrong.

    Karius
    TAA
    Matip
    Lovren
    Moreno
    Can
    Gini
    Coutinho
    Mane
    Sturidge
    Salah

    Subs
    Ward
    Klavan
    Gomez
    Milner
    Grujic
    Solanke
    Firmino
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

    So, I reckon the line-up will be;

    Karius

    TAA
    Matip
    Lovren
    Robertson

    Henderson
    Can
    Coutinho

    Mane
    Firmino
    Salah

A team that has will score for fun, but may be prone to conceding comical howler.

After seeing Hendo play the full match midweek I thought he'd have been rested for the weekends match but no he's played full games in both so I expect him to be rested for this.

Didn't play the weekend before though.

Think I'd give Salah a rest with Mane coming back in, keep Coutinho in front 3 with Bobby, with Sturridge/Salah to come on

bring in AOC or Milner for Gini.

        TAA and Robertson at fullback.

Mo is our most prolific scorer right now so I'd be against benching him from the start. Get him off after 60 mins or so when it's wrapped up hopefully. Likewise Millie & the Ox off the bench

Do Spartak have any fashionable players?
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

                Quincy as mentioned above,
Their captain, Glushanov, is a very decent midfielder so one to watch out for & they have recruited a decent Brazillian forward from Sampdoria called Fernando.

Other than that, the rest are...meh?
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Really and truly we should be turning these over, they are bang average. Promes is their main man and Adriano was decent a few years ago but I'll be pretty surprised if we don't beat these. In saying that **** knows what Liverpool side will turn up. Mane should be chomping at the bit and Phil getting sharper with every game I can't see us not scoring, the problem is scoring more than them.

                      slick.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Just read that he has a calf injury and missed their game at the weekend because of it, and is a doubt for tomorrow night.

Same article says the Brazilian forward they bought last month also missed their weekend game as he is injured as well.

By all accounts they are meant to have a weak enough team in terms of quality save for the likes of Promes and one or two others. So if Promes is out or not at 100%, it bodes well for us to get a good away win against them.

We need to build some momentum and confidence now after the Leicester win.

A good away win here and I can see us hammering Newcastle.
