Can't think why Coutinho thought Barca was a more attractive option .

Klopp: "If we stop creating chances I would be concerned, but if we keep doing it like this I am okay, the boys have the quality.

We are having our hard moment - we need to work, if we do what we know we are good at, score more goals, we will see where we end."

"It is really difficult in games like today, Newcastle were really well organised. The chance we've created - usually we use these."

        So predictable.

All said and done, that was a freak goal we conceded and we missed sitters, but regardless that ball Shelvey played was far too simple.

How was it a freak goal? Straight balls through the middle of our team have been the hallmark of our season so far.

I have stopped watching his interviews in recent games as it's the same stuff over and over.

It was freak in the way it was finished but there was nothing freakish about the way it was set up. In fact, it was a normal goal for us to concede.

The fact their striker didn't take a shot. Our player got the ball in the challenge, it rebounded off of his leg into our goal. There are a lot of variables in that situation which could have resulted in the ball going anywhere but into our net.

Like for example when Salah was played in early in the first half and he missed the ball and when Sturridge bottled it when Clarke missed the ball.

He's right, we're not far away from being a real challenger. The problem is we're not taking those steps to becoming a real challenger.

Why can't Jordan Henderson cross a ball with some whip on it? Most of the time it's that lofted ****e he pulls off. He takes no risks. His play is far too slow, and too safe. His stats look great and this allows people to defend him but he simply is not good enough.

Newcastle were much better than I expected Rafa had them well drilled. The problem is that we did the hard bit in getting the lead and then blew it with sloppy defence again.

After that Newcastle really didn't even try to attack us. They left our CBS with the ball and there entire team dropped of negating the pace of Mane and Salah.

Will be interesting to see if Mourinho has Utd come at us, or if he plays defensively as usual.

It's frustrating, but hardly the crisis some of you are building it up to.

Moreno has the opposite problem, he just whips it in with pace with no regard of where our players are in relation to the ball when he crosses.
