That's partially true. But with confident and reliable goalie the central defenders would improve their game. If we get one or two good central defenders ( like Van Dijk ), I think we would have our defence pretty much sorted out.

Mig isn't the worst, bigger problems in defence and midfield. Get a midfielder and two defenders in as a priority before changing the keeper.

Disgraceful. Enough is enough. There can't be any more excuses across the next two windows. Go and buy a goalkeeper and some defenders.

I want to say Lovren and Mignolet should never play for us again but our alternatives at the moment are arguably even worse. Spend in January, and spend in the summer ffs.

Lovren and Mig isn't enough by any means. We need to replace Can when he leaves, Coutinho when he leaves, we need a right back, we need two CBs (Matip isn't particularly impressive) And we need a goal scorer. Arguably another CM on top of keith. At our rate of signing players we need it's unrealistic to think we will achieve this any time soon.

Don't agree with you. With relient and commanding goalkeeper the defenders will improve too ( grove in confidence ). We have no leadership in our defence, and a goalie you can rely on and/or a vocal CB ( I think or Carra or Agger ) would do a great deal for our defence.

As I said in the match thread, for me it depends on whether Mig called for the ball. If he did and Matip blocked him like a plank then the finger really needs pointing at Matip. If he didn't then it's all on Mig.
