Watched on stream but thought a decent performance by all accounts - Lovren still looks like an accident waiting to happen and Alexander Arnold showing his naivety (still young) throughout. Henderson kept it ticking over and must admit I thought Bertie M was bloody solid.
I agree, although I think Firmino does a lot to make those guys look good too. His almost Suarez petulance at attacking their back three for either regaining the ball or pulling them out of position is brilliant off the ball work.
“He was really good today, it was one of his best performances over 90 minutes in defending.
That was Klopp on TAA today. I also thought he was better at defending than offensively for a change. He's a bit hesitant, especially on throw ins but I'm not worried about that, he'll get better at that with games and added confidence.

Some of our ball winning up high work yesterday was outstanding, especially in the first half, and Firmino was central to a lot of it. Could argue Southampton played into our hands on a few occasions like that, but the swarming was there from our lads to make something out of their possession.

with Firmino and Salah we've found a combination of two players to replace what Suarez did for us.

We've conceded only one goal at home this season and bar the horror shows at Watford, City and Spurs (conceded 12 among them), we have been pretty solid this season.
There has been a lot of knee jerk reactions over here.
