Fantastic win. Much better when Salah came on, the Firmino, Mane and Solanke combination wasn't good but I suppose we got some players rested.
Above Spurs, United play Arsenal at the weekend and we've rested most of our key players ahead of the busy period. Happy with that.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Definitly, however... unlikely though a league win is ...it seems a bit early to be giving it up.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostThis is good surely?
No way are we winning the league. City over utd or Chelsea everyday.
We've only lost twice this season without playing amazingly well.Modifying post.

I just don't want utd getting a sniff of a chance. We just need to keep winning and see how far that gets us.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostDefinitly, however... unlikely though a league win is ...it seems a bit early to be giving it up.

Yeah, Mourinho and Utd winning the League would be totally unbearable. They are too negative to really challenge City I reckon. We leak to many goals. Arsenal are too unpredictable. Chelsea don't look as good as last season...

The league unfortunately looks gone but I dont see why we can't be a massive, massive problem for everyone in the CL (fitness of our attack permitting), unlikely on paper as we clearly have more faults than say PSG but we can smack anyone on our day them included. And Van God is eligible if we can get that done. I'm tempted to go and smash us on betfair, 29s is ****ing good.

We should be quite well suited to the knockout stages of the CL.
But as you say we have to tighten up our defence.
And keeper. Mignolet was pretty lucky not to walk tonight. Karius...Modifying post.
