Thanks Corndog but I’ve watched the odd game of football before so can spot and do appreciate more than just nutmegs and screamers. He’s never the kind of midfielder league winners deploy. Not in a million years. If you think he’s a good player because he can pass it short and chase a man then I think you’re setting your standards a little too low.

Anyway he might boss the second half and score a worldie now, which would delight me btw, but I’d be surprised.

I don't think he's good just because of those traits although I think those traits are lacking in the midfield without him and thus he often starts for us and is an important player,Coutinho can obviously move the ball as quickly when he plays deep but that doesn't always happen.

He scored 6 goals and produced 11 assists last season from the base of midfield. He's a good player
