He is so reliable at full back. I think Milner has a decision to make.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostObviously the front players were great, but I thought Milner was ace when he came on; Mane's volley was superb ofc but that was an absolute peach of a ball.
I reckon he is the most reliable of the three LB's (Robbo great but unproven as yet). He is also not going to get a game regularly in midfield.
He could choose to be a great left back for us, or basically he will end up at a West Brom or a Southampton playing in midfield.Modifying post.

i have never rated milner in the middle, always said he is better when he has a touchline to follow as he gets a little lost and forgets which way he should be facing... wing or full back he is solid. he can get done for pace but he is often anticipating the move and can cover adequately.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostHe is so reliable at full back. Really enjoyed the second half as I thought as good as we were in the first our passing was sloppy.
Great to see Mane on the score sheet. I think he needed those goals.
Not sure how klopp described Moreno as hard, the guy goes to ground pretty regular and was almost crying as he came off FFS. But hey ho, this was good as milner came on. What a cross!
Hope we don't get real or bayern yet.
How many times have that front 4 started this season out of interest?Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Only the 4th time they'd all played together I believe.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View Post

EDIT: Just checked again and it's the 5th time.
21 goals scored in those 5 games too and one of them was the 1-1 draw with Spartak

So hard men don't cry? Also, he take a lot of **** and still keeps going. You could say he has a hard mentality too.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostNot sure how Klopp described Moreno as hard, the guy goes to ground pretty regular and was almost crying as he came off FFS.Was muß, das muß.

Spartak (2), Southampton. What are the other two? They were all for for Newcastle, but Bobby was benched.Originally posted by Gingawaria View PostOnly the 4th time they'd all played together I believe.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That was a much more complete performance for me
Yes the frontline will take the plaudits but I think the midfielders and the defenders all did well yesterday
Wijnaldum who I have been highly critical of had a decent all round game yesterday and even won some tacklesBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
