6 weeks since the spurs defeat, unbeaten in 10 since. Up into top 4 and top of the CL group.
Loads more exciting football to look forward to, where as these have to watch that alehouse ****, that draw will be the highlight of their season.
I'd have taken where we are now, 6 weeks ago. Frustrating as **** today but we are in good shape to tackle the next few weeks.

Henderson is captain, Milner is VC and didn't he get 3 assists on Wednesday. Solanke is a WC winner and everyone has been saying he deserves a chance. Chamberlain cost a lot of money and other big clubs wanted him in the summer. Everyone has been complaining that Robertson hasn't been given a chance and Gomez and Trent have been rotated all season.
We've got a strong squad.
I think the penalty conceded is the only time they had the ball in our penalty area?
It's an unfortunate result but I don't think it happened because of team selection.
Derbies are always different and form counts for nothing. It's just one of those days.
We dominated throughout

Yeah, this is what did it for me too.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

Mistakes will always happen, fatigue too (although I don't understand the prioritising of games in the rotation, you just can't have that midfield three playing against a deep-sitting Allardyce's Everton), but that was just unacceptable.
At 1-0 in the derby when we've struggled to break them down for an entire half, to ignore THREE team mates with an open goal and instead try to score from a tight angle... It's selfish, stupid and egotistical, and a difference between 4-0 and 1-1 in my opinion.
Really let everyone down with that one.

Spot on, most sensible post of the day considering all the knee jerk reactions

Had this dread feeling all week they would sneak a result
The team sheet did nothing to alleviate that
However I thought we played well yesterday and could and should have got more out of it than we did
Everton were really poor and there did not seem any coherent plan from them other than **** the ball anywhere into our half. It wasn't even played into the channels or up for a man to hold up
Anyway on to us, we got into great positions but failed to either deliver a good final ball (Mane should have passed) or put away the chances. So clearly the team he put out was capable of getting the result required despite my misgivings.
What I found strange was the subs. Chamberlain was doing really well inside and was bossing the midfield and giving us loads of energy in there. Salah was killing their leftback. So for me taking off Mo and moving Ox out wide lost us momentum. If you were going to bring on Firmino then Solanke should have been the one to give way
On to the penalty. My initial reaction at the match and in real time was "you daft prick" it looked a tad harsh but Lovren has so much form for doing this when there is absolutely no need
On seeing it back I think it was very harsh. It's one of them for me. If if goes against you you feel aggrieved if you are the attacking team you get that you would feel it was your lucky dayBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I might be on my own but thought he had every right to shoot. The angle wasn't particularly tight either, it was just a bad miss from a player who'd normally bury itOriginally posted by Fuzzy View PostYeah, this is what did it for me too.
