This is not going to be a popular opinion, but in theory, I've no problem with unintentional handballs which directly lead to goals being ruled out. Don't punish the player, but don't reward them either IMO.

That said, it's still ****ing annoying as **** as you see goals in a similar manner being allowed to stand....!Just not tonight.

It doesn't matter whether it's going in, if you don't intend it to hit your hand then it's not different from it hitting you in the nuts, make no odds.

My interpretation is the ref gave the goal and pointed to the centre circle.....then he heard from the linesman. Haven't seen a replay to see when he flagged etc

It might well have been going in (or allowed Solanke to react and knock it in in anyway).....I think the linesman saw the windmilling arm and made a guess as to the initial touch.
