Is a 2 bedroom house bought today for £240,000 better than a 4 bedroom house bought for £50,000 20 years ago?

In the words of Ricky Gervais: "What a ****ing ****"

    Incomparable markets.

    Is Pogba better than Zidane?
Is Pickford better than De Gea?
Is Lidelof also better than Maldini, Nesta, Baresi, Ferdinand and anyone else sold in a different time?

I’m actually not sure he said owt wrong there unless i am misreading it.

It does upset me that a professional journalist drops a rogue apostrophe in his article though.

Same. Hes just pointing out that Klopp was fairly outspoken when they paid £98m for Pogba. Which he was. The fact is that that deal kick started the massive inflation in player valuations, which is what Mourinho is alluding to.

I can't stand him, but I don't think he has said much wrong there.

Can't stand Mourinho but fair enough - Klopp had a go when they paid stupid money for Pogba, no doubt he was asked to comment on the VVD money and to be fair he could have lashed out more strongly than that even though the Pogba deal was one of the first of this new ridiculous pricing.

The best part of all this is the Manu fans moaning all over the place, they are now worried that the Jan market price is going to be more bonkers than ever and they need to strengthen, no doubt also worried that we have a good defender to martial the defence and late the forwards kill teams

It doesn't matter, we need to slag him off more anyways... good for the soul

Well if he wants journos to pull managers up on comments they made in the past, then I hope he will be happy to answer questions about his own little digs and whinges.

And if he has a problem with managers being outspoken about the money being spent on players by clubs other than their own club, then maybe he should not have been going on about the players City bought in the summer and the fees they spent.

It would be a fair comment from Mourinho if he himself had not being doing the exact same thing over the past week or so. Plus it is Mourinho so don't really feel like being fair to that jipstain about anything.

He's in a bit of a hole as he blatantly wants to have a dig but he's also digging at his board every week about money so he kind of has to go along with "you pay the money or dont get the player". Quite amusing. He was probably awake all night wondering how to play it.

Or he is just a miserable prick having a moan because that is the only thing he truly excels at these days.

I agree too, but he's a massive bellwhiff though so can take his opinion and shove it up his arse

TBF the media aren't all over him ala Chelsea 1 & 2 - Quite a few are actually picking him up on it hence his dash to the media room before the journos arrive, so he can bugger off before they actually get there.
As mentioned before, he's still at the Lowry in Manchester with absolutely no interest in buying or renting elsewhere. Its been picked up on at ManU also.

He's a master at deflection, give him credit at that point, but gone are the days
off the mischievous fellas sticking a few fingers up at the establishment.

Jose to be sacked or walk before then end of the season - Wonder what the odds would be ?
