      Barcelona are interested apparently.

I'll just leave that here to simmer.

        **** yeah!!

superp news to wake up to

Still need to sign a commanding keeper, but this is the first step in eradicating our brain farts in defence.

We've got a great defender who is also a leader on the pitch - with our weakness in defence and incredible attack what price do you put on a player who has the potential to sort out our back line?

The midfield is still an issue, especially defensively so until that is addressed I don't think VVD will excel.

the atmosphere was very poor that game, I was expecting the Kop to show him what he was missing

I think we'll see a completely new midfield next season

Keita will exponentially improve our midfield. If we get Goretzka too it'll be ****ing cocks out time

Any chance he is available against Burnley considering he is already signed?

I think he'll "have to adapt" on the training ground for a couple of weeks before we see him. Maybe Everton debut but wouldn't be surprised to see him take a bit longer.

I feel like FA Cup is a good opportunity to debut with all the fixtures in between. With the top 4 race so close it’s surely not low priority for us anyway. Question is who starts once he is bedded in... be interesting to see what they do.
