Decent performance last night. He has quickly settled into Klopps way of defending, his presence has given us infinately more composure and organisation along the back line. Apart from a couple of half chances, Porto were snuffed out

I'm no longer dreading corners and I love the way he holds a very high line when defending against free kicks

I would be very interested in seeing Klavan playing along side him as well. I think they would also be a good pairing

I think he'll make all of our CBs look better, that's a measure of his class.

He's clearly a cut above our other CBs, good on the ball, able to ping it cross field with good accuracy, great in the air, fast. He's got the lot.
