I do think it was a foul, not the initial bit where he waved his arms around, but the shove by Sterling as he played the ball that ended up with VVD on the ground and out of play hence unable to get back as quick as Sterling, that was a foul all day.

I was annoyed with him for not launching the ball down the pitch when he realised there was no safe pass on. But I guess Klopp fines them for aimless hoofing!

I'd have given a free for either, sent Sterling off, and done a **** in his locker at half time.

There's a horse in the grand national called The Dutchman. Unless it is actually VVD in the race.

Will be putting a tenner on it

Was definitely a foul but play the whistle ffs. Thought he was brilliant after that. Class CB who is even making Lovren look good... now that in itself is impressive.

I thought it was a foul but ok yeah, fair enough, it was an intense game. However, I don't understand why he started handing out so many yellows considering he let that one go.

Thought we were getting ****ed over by him in the first half but was completely different story in the second. Think Pep might have pissed him off

It was a classic case of a player not liking his options and waiting (in vain this time) for either a pass to appear or for enough contact to win a foul. It was complacent and absolutely not what was required in the first few mins of such a game.

Just saw this stat on Tomkins Times.

6 headed goals conceeded in the league by Liverpool... Which is the 5th best record in the league.

                        But...

No headed goal conceeded since New Years day...

Not arguing with the general point but the second goal we let in v WBA on Saturday was a header?

Yep I think that stat is out of date now.

The difference is massive though. I think it's worthy of a drinking game.

Drink a shot every time you hear "cleared by Van Dijk"

                              Absolutely battered by half-time
