It's just occurred to me, with the strength of our midfield potentially putting Hendo on the bench most games, are we gonna see the armband handed over to Big Virgil this season?

Can’t see it as being in anyway a progressive statement, ultimately would be a massive **** you to Henderson at a time when he is putting in career best performances. Can see Virgil being a VV, but don’t think it’s Klopps style to strip the captaincy from a player he rates and respects.

I think our regular midfield 3 will end up being Henderson Fabinho and Keita. I think if Fekir does come in he will be largely playing as a forward i.e. we will play 3 from the 4 of Salah, Firmino, Mane and Fekir.

I'm going to answer for him. Fabinho because he's a specialist DCM.

I think Henderson is a superb DCM though so i don't agree. A transition to a CM role would be an interesting experiment though.

Even supposing Fabinho is the better player in that position, do we not think Hendo still joins Keita to make up the first choice midfield three? It's not exactly an alien position to him - there were some who still felt he hadn't made the transition to DM this time last year!

Yeah, I did ask that question myself.

Hard to know what Klopp's midfield will be. If we sign another AMC then I really wouldn't have a clue. I'm absolutely certain Keita will be a starter, gets a little Fuzzy after that.
