I did wonder if it needed the guitar to get the tempo going.

Perhaps when more people know the words etc it will take off?

It's a great song, but 'we watch him score'... how many does he have though, one?

True. Don't understand why he stands still at corners instead of running in and attacking the ball. There will be games where we need a goal or two from our centre backs.

I've seen enough now - he's the best centre half I've ever seen at Liverpool. I turned 13 in 1990 so saw Hansen, but was young, and there's Hyypia too, but he tops the lot imo. He's like a computer generated centre half ffs, all the attributes rated 20 on Footy Manager.

Thats almost exactly what Rio Ferdinand said pre-match.

Big man was brilliant particularly first half. Makes the right decision so often.

Awesome player. Can't think of any better CBs.

Koulibaly comes close. Can you imagine these two ****ers in the same defence?

Never a red - he got the ball first then the player so yellow was right in my mind...

Ancelotti insisted Virgil van Dijk should have received a straight red card for a dangerous first-half challenge on Dries Mertens, the Liverpool defender taking the ball and then the forward’s ankle.

“From the video it is a red card,” said the Napoli manager. “There are a lot of questions about VAR but when VAR comes in the Champions League it will be too late.”

At least he will get a restful break for a game, he will then be ready for the next 25 straight again.
