Ha gave the bench a thumbs up that he was ok to continue. Bo way he stays on the pitch if it's an injury

When asked about Van Dijk’s condition during his post-match press conference, Klopp replied: “We have to see. I asked him and I think it was in the counter-attack situation when Sissoko hit him… I don’t know if he twisted it or it is a knock.

“He was walking to the interviews with a big ice pack. I hope it’s nothing serious but I don’t know yet.”

Apparently Van Dijk was asked about it in interview and he said it was fine.

Sissoko was so desperate to pass the buck. Nah mate, you're going to take it, and with your left.

Yup, that was worth a goal. Blocking the Son pass, pushing him wide onto his weaker foot and also attacking just as he was about to shoot. He's sensational.

He seems to just get better and better.

Unbelievably good play be Big Virg. I mean Sissoko is **** but VVD forced him to have a pop on his left.

                          Perfect play.

He's the best player in the league. I honestly think he's centre-backing this season better than Suarez was centre-forwarding in 2013-14, and I can't think of any higher compliment cos that was the best season I've seen any footballer have.
                            Thanks very much for being

There was a corner in the second half where he grabs Milner tells him to go for the short ball and then put it on the back post for him knock it in, doesn't come off but his reading of game is off the charts

That one on Kane in the first half was amazing too, he was in and about to get a shot off and Virg was like yeah....no that’s not happening.

He’s the best centre back I’ve ever seen. You can pretty much pick a fault in any of the great ones over the years whether it’s aerial ability, pace, height or whatever, he’s basically like he’s been designed on a computer with everything set as a 10/10. He beats anyone in the air, reads the game brilliantly and can keep up with or out run the likes of Mbappe and Adama Traore. How’s an attacker meant to deal with that?
