Since Van Dijk joined Liverpool in January 2018, he has won 72 of his 95 Premier League games. The win rate of 76% is the best of any player to make 80 or more appearances in the league over the same period.
    Another MASSIVE game

We seem to love putting crocks on long contracts with high wages and then we cant shift them.

The flip side to that is if he’s back to his very best, it would cost us more…

We’ve missed loads from him but his long cross field passes that break the press are amazing

He was excellent, so was Joel by the way. With Virgil you get those incredible passes and with Joel you get those line breaking runs into the middle of the pitch. I think they're a brilliant pairing to be honest. They've already played more minutes together this season than they did in the entirety of last season!

Will he play against Burnley or will he be rested and brought back for the Chelsea game?

I think he will play, just needs game time now to get back to his best

A week should be enough recovery time.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Konate get a start vs Burnley. Get the lads used to playing together against the easier sides cause you just know there’ll be injuries at some stage

                      Brilliant today.

Brings so much more to our entire style of play. A proper reminder of what we missed last season today. He isn’t back to his best yet, but well on his way. Barnes etc were right in his face today. Swatted aside.

Quite close to his best and faultless again today. Massive difference to our team and Matip too, top class

Dont need new signings (in defence) but please stay fit
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I'm out of cream just watching Matip and VvD back handling some useful and strong long ballers. The pair of them were so intelligent too when the inevitable elbows came in or Burnley were looking for any kind of foul.

                            Very underrated performance by both!
