Not quite sure what the the point of a BBC is then?

Unless he absolutely rips it up, it sounds like we'd merely be paying market rate.

Well, if he doesn’t rip it up then we most likely won’t be interested in bringing him back.

On the other hand, if he scores roughly 15 PL goals in each of the next 2 seasons, £40m would be way under market value for a 22 year old English striker with that sort of goal return.

That's a bit of a leap of faith. Another year of Covid and transfer fees might be down to 1990 levels.

Well yeah Obvs, so where’s the eventuality of paying market rate to have him back come from?

If transfer fee regress 30 years then we won’t be looking at Brewster, we’ll be too busy signing Mbappe for £8.5m

Just so long as he doesn't score his first goal there.

I'd definitely start him. Has a point to prove and will know just how **** Adrian is

He has a point to prove, he's bound to score.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
