    Burnley away build up

Coutinho on his way to Barca? Salah injured?

    Mignolet
    Gomez Matip Klavan Robertson
    Can Wijnaldum
    Mane Firmino Oxlade-Chamberlain
    Solanke
    Another MASSIVE game

Tough game this. I’d set up for a bit of counterattacking. Need a big performance from Mane, particularly if Salah sits this one out.

If Salah is injured Ibwould like to see Mane back on the right side. Need him back to form asap. Tough game this.

I think Lallana and TAA will start.

If Salah is nursing a knock or injury then would bench him. Not sure about resting Coutinho, but if so then slot Chamberlain in place of him.

        Would start with this XI

        ---------------Karius
        TAA-----Lovern----Klaven----Robertson
        ----------Milner--------Can------------
        ----------------Lallana-----------------
        Mane------------------------Coutinho
        ---------------Firmino--------------

Then after Friday's game we have a nine day break until the next game (assuming we have no cup replay)

I'm now (even more )confused over what the point of playing Karius against Leicester was
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Why rotate keepers, it's ridiculous and can cause chaos. Zero consistency over the whole season with our defence and zero continuity can be formed when you are constantly chopping and changing. I get rotation and the fact Klopp has been struggling to find the "right" defence with our personnel but nothing good from constantly chopping and changing... especially your keeper.

I think it’s fair to assume that Mignolet will not be our first choice keeper next season. So why not give Karius the rest of this season to prove himself? If he’s **** (and he won’t be much worse than Mignolet), we’ll need a new keeper. If it works out, all good for next season.

(I don’t currently rate Karius, but he at least deserves a chance i.e. a run of games)
                  Another MASSIVE game

I know earlier in the season (Arsenal game) he rested Mignolet for one game, but I really don't see why your keeper needs a rest. As you say it creates uncertainty in the defence, which given our issues back there already doesn't help.

I really hope that neither Mignolet nor Karius are first choice next season. Mignolet is at an age where he is probably as good as he'll get, there is still potential for Karius and Ward to improve, I'm not convinced by Karius and haven't seen much of Ward, but I would be tempted to give Ward a chance, he did well at Huddersfield in the Championship, and while it's not PL level it's still a physical league and based on the little I've seen I think he could be the best option of the 3.

I agree but I think Klopp likes Karius and sees him as our future first choice keeper.

he should stop pissing about and then stick with karius, the changing does nothing to help the defence get used to the one guy.
will he come for the high ball, will he shout leave it... need a consistent choice.
better to stick with karius and see if he becomes a more solid keeper by the end of the year, and if not bin both of them and just have ward as the back up.

klopp is flapping like mig coming for a corner here
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Damn you expect results fast. Think the guy would need a bit more than eight and a bit hours to prove himself.

I would definitely give Karius another run in the side to see if he is up to it now. There's not much if anything between them so why not give the younger guy who has room for improvement a chance.
