Really - he scored a few goals in his ind season before we signed him for free. At least we didn't pay £35m for him like we did with Carroll who had a similar spell.

No offence Nicey but I have no idea how you can say he was a senior EPL player of that he was lethal-nothing in his career to date proves that.

Ings has had 1 season in the premier league essentially and scored 11 goals for Burnley, hardly proven. Solanke has done nothing to suggest he's remotely ready. Both are not the required standard at this point.

**** knows how this is going to go, an away v a nothing club when we are in **** form. They can't score goals so that guarantees they'll get at least one.

          If Wijnaldum starts we riot.

This game has to be our version of when one of Fergusons mates (Bruce, Moyes, Fat Sam, Hughes etc.) managed against him at Man U surely?

Put up a bit of token resistance then wilt for your old mate.

Nervous about us playing Huddersfield ffs. You know what way they will setup, as it is the best way to play against us. I wonder will Klopp try something different tonight? I think we might see a few surprises in the line up, especially with Spurs up next.

Anything other than 3 points is a disaster.

                Henderson in for Gini, surely.

it's bizarre, but a mid-week 'winnable' game and i'm so not up for it!

the way we have played against west brom/Swansea I just can't see how we will win tonight unless he did something completely different - like say started woodburn or changed formation to 3 at the back or something...

if he picks - 4-3-3 - Gomez/VVD/one of the others/Robertson, and then Can/Wijn/Ox and the front three i'll just laugh........

what worries the **** out of me with Klopp is that throughout his time here it's been rinse and repeat and I've used the following quote loads "insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

I'm not convinced Klopp knows how to change it or he's too stubborn too.

I predict another poor/slow build up/possession but no threat performance again.

We will concede at least one goal - it will be their only shot on target and there will be some cluster **** by us that leads to their goal.

If we manage to win, it'll be because Salah does something magical.

But i'd say 1-1 is the most likely result, unless of course Klopp does surprise us and changes the personal and set up.

Daft thing is - home to spurs on Sunday and we will probably beat them 5-3 or something

He scored in 5 of his last 6 matches for Burnley before signing for us, that's pretty lethal

I mean he had a very decent season with Burnely hence why we signed him, his last 6 games he scored in 5 of those games. He is a fully formed footballer who we hoped would kick on with us, Dom is very much a development player.

I mean I dont think Danny Ings is the answer, but if he found form I think he is a perfect Kopp style player.
