Thanjk you.

Porto are pretty comfortable top of their league...currently unbeaten in fact. However im not sure on what domestic games of importance they have around our 2nd leg. Would imagine they rest some of their top players for the domestic challanges as overcoming a 5-0 at Anfield will be a hard task.
Tough to think how we should approach the 2nd leg...
Almost full strength but with early subs? Potential risk of injury to key players for the united game. Or ability to bring on rested stars if need to up the performance.
Heavily rotated side? May take away some momentum in our play for the following game. But at least our key players would be rested for man u.
Suppose a good headache to have!

They play Sporting just a few days before our game who are only 2 points behind them in the league, (I originally thought it was after). But that makes me feel like they will definitely be focusing on that fixture not this Champions League. Especially because even though they are doing so well in their league, there is only 2 points between them, Benfica and Sporting who are all having decent seasons, although Porto do have a game in hand.
Liverpool registered the joint-biggest away Champions League knockout win, equalling Bayern Munich's 5-0 win at Sporting Lisbon in February 2009 and Real Madrid's at Schalke in February 2014.
This is Porto's heaviest home European defeat and the first time they have conceded more than three goals in a home European match.
Liverpool are the first English side to score five goals in an away Champions League knockout match.
Mohamed Salah became the first Liverpool player to score 30 goals in all competitions in a single season since Luis Suarez (31) in 2013-14.
Salah has now scored in five consecutive matches in all competitions, the first Reds player to achieve that feat since Divock Origi in December 2016.
Trent Alexander-Arnold became the youngest Liverpool player to feature in a Champions League knockout match, aged 19 years and 130 days.
Alexander-Arnold is the fifth youngest Englishman to feature in a Champions League knockout game, behind only Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere and Wayne Rooney.
Liverpool have won four matches by five or more goals in all competitions this season, the first time they have achieved that since the 1985-86 season (five victories by that margin).
Porto know they're not gonna win 0-6 at ours, so I reckon they'll give up the ghost and make some changes too - though I've no idea of their domestic situation tbh.
Big changes 2nd leg for us imo. Big hitters on the bench in case we go 0-2 down. Ideal situation for us.
I would have the Trident on the bench and go with 3 of Ox, Solanke, Ings or Woodburn instead

Porto have half a game in hand (a match they were playing was abandoned at half time) the second half still has to be played and they are currently losing 1 - 0

To anyone who thinks Klopp will be fielding a reserve side for the return leg.
"Does he think the tie is over?*"No, of course not, why should I? We came here to create the basis for the second leg at Anfield - and that's what we did, not more, not less. I am too long in the business to think anything is sorted before the final whistle.
"We owe our supporters at Anfield a 100% performance and that's what we want to deliver. That's all."
I think we'll start with a strong side. I cannot see him rotate too much because that would send the wrong signal.

I dont think he will field a reserve team. I think the back 5 will maybe see the full backs changed out. I think the midfield will stay more or less the same. However, I think he will rest the trident as much as possible, as they have played a lot of games
But you never know, we are now on a 10 day break, so what I think doesnt really matter a ****

Wait, we have a 10 days break now? Didn't we have something similar in January as well? I think we will only see Salah and Firmino rested for the reverse, being out of the FA cup is a blessing really, giving the team nice breaks to recover.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

He will look to give a game to Lallana for sure. The fact that we have only two games between now and United makes me think that he will not rotate our front three. We hardly have a fixture pile up.
