    The Orange Kit

It's served us well hasn't it?

Anyone got the stats for the games in which Bold Citrus has been deployed?
    Oh I don't know.

    Best signing of the season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

24 goals in six games: How the Reds thrive in orange

Liverpool continued their brilliant form when wearing orange at FC Porto, with Jürgen Klopp's side having now bagged 24 goals in six games wearing their third kit.

The New Balance strip was unveiled and launched during the club’s pre-season trip to Hong Kong last summer but had to wait until October for its first outing in a competitive match.

It was quite a start when it came, though.

Liverpool inflicted a memorable 7-0 defeat on NK Maribor in the Champions League group stages – their biggest ever win in an away fixture in European competition.

The next appearance for the ‘bold citrus’ uniform was the Premier League meeting with West Ham United the following month and once more the goals flowed for Klopp’s charges.

Four, to be exact. Mohamed Salah and co were a blur of colour as they sprung a blistering counter-attack for the opener, and further goals from Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the Egyptian again made it two victories out of two for the kit.

Stoke City shipped three against the orange-clad visitors when Liverpool journeyed to the Potteries in late November, with Sadio Mane laying the foundations for a Salah double off the substitutes’ bench.

The team’s 100 per cent record in the kit ended, somehow, at Emirates Stadium before Christmas.

Arsenal overturned a two-goal deficit to lead in north London, though Roberto Firmino had the final say with the side’s 17th strike in just four outings in the strip.

And, after seven weeks without use, it was back to winning ways in the third kit at Southampton on Sunday.

Salah continued his record of having netted each time he has pulled on the orange colours – eight in five, at this point – after Firmino began the scoring on the south coast.

And the quirk continued in style against FC Porto on Wednesday night.

Mane registered a hat-trick to complement goals from Firmino and Salah – naturally – as the brilliant orange bonanza increased to 24 goals in just six matches.
          Oh I don't know.

I like it, its one on the best back up kits we have had for some time. The complete kit is the same colour and its reasonable close to being red

Still the worst shade of 'orange' I've ever seen, but actually looks better under the floodlights.

I just had the idea of buying one - beats wearing a bib when playing 5 a side.

Sold out in my size in the offal shop. Not sure I'd spend £40 on it either, mind.
                  Oh I don't know.

I think when we wear it our opponents are expecting some hairy assed builder to dive in with two feet while spitting a smouldering roll up at them. I quite like it and results speak for themselves....its the kit...really..

Some of the older folk amongst us will remember when Romania went bleach blonde during the 98 world cup and then Hoddle tried to suggest the team was trying to get an extra one percent of being able to see each other that little bit better.

I remember that but never really considered myself one of the older folk
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Sorry fella, that was nearly twenty years ago. Our RB on Wednesday wasn't even born then.

I was in a sports bar in the States for the Southampton game. There was so many screens that when it did any kind of close up of our players the place was glowing orange. Looked awesome.
