Next season early performance based on World Cup appearances

I was thinking that players usually get a decent chunk of time off if they're playing in the World Cup (or Euros) and so I wondered if we'd have an advantage against our rivals.

Here's the players (main ones) that could or will be featuring -

    Man City

Aguero, Otamendi, De Bruyne, Kompany, Jesus, Fernandinho, Ederson, Sterling, Stones, Walker, Mangala, Mendy, Gundogan, Sane, Bernardo Silva, David Silva.

Pretty much their entire squad and all likely to be heavily involved with potential to go far in the competition.

    -----------------------------

    Spurs

Lamela, Alderweireld, Dembele, Vertonghen, Eriksen, Alli, Dier, Kane, Rose, Trippier, Lloris, Sissoko, Son Heung-min

**** club, **** fans. Apart from Sissoko, all of these should feature heavily in their respective teams.

    -----------------------------

    Man Utd

Fellaini, Lukaku, Jones, Lingard, Rashford, Martial, Pogba, Matic, De Gea, Mata, Lindelof

Lingard and Rashford could feature, Lindelof isn't likely to progress far. This is a worry as their squad will be reasonably fresh before next season.

    -----------------------------

    And finally us -

    Liverpool

Karius, Firmino, Lovren, Salah, Milner, Henderson, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Mané.

Only six players there that I think will feature in their international side (Firmino, Lovren, Salah, Henderson, Can and Mané).

    Absences include -

VVD, Robertson, Matip, Wijnaldum, Klavan, Gomez, TAA, Clyne, Moreno.

Only 10 players that really matter and pretty much our entire back line not travelling which means we can work on defensive shape and drills in pre-season.
    Was muß, das muß.

I think Gomez might make the squad

What about Keita? He's not going is he? Agree with Norbs, I could see Gomez going. Milner is retired isn't he?
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
