That’s not what Buzzo is asking, Spud

Don’t know about Rush or the others, but Salah has scored in 28 different games in all comps this season.

The referee was terrible as usual, got influenced by the crowd for the first yellow and then obviously should have sent Mane off for the 2nd, useless and how classy was Sako demanding a card for Mane. We rode our luck their somewhat but we wanted it more. Palace are a very decent footballing side, there is no way they are going down. Shame none of our rivals have to play them.

I missed Spurs 'analysis' because I was over at match. From what I picked up, Kane wasn't offside because Lovren had last touch. For Mané's offside goal yesterday, Firmino's header ricocheted off defenders head into Mané's path, so why was that any different?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Bit of a minefield but supposedly because Mane was in that offside position when VVD headed it and something to do with intent. **** knows

After back to back defeats against the mighty West Brom and Swansea, Henderson has come back into the side and we've won every game, bar being robbed in the draw against Spurs. Our only defeat in that run was to United and guess what, Henderson was absent again.

That run also included the biggest ever away win by any English team in Europe, plus an impressive 5-0 against Watford.

Anyway, won't make a jot of difference, win, loss or draw, Henderson is still **** and we#ll have to hear the same drivel from fans during and after every game.

                        interesting observation.

I agree, His job within the team is not a glamorous one, which is probably why he doesn’t get any plaudits - but he is very effective in giving us control.

He gets grief about his captaincy also, but I think he is a great captain. We have good discipline a great work ethic and desire. He’s a model pro.

That’s it exactly. That level of consistency is insane.

I do wonder how that stacks up against the likes of Rush/Fowler/Torres/Suarez?

Not sure about Rush, but only 2 other players have scored in 21 games in PL era (Ronaldo, Van Persie) so that puts him ahead of the other 3.

I like Henderson and think the stats prove we're better with him but I don't think he's a good leader and would prefer VVD to be promoted to captain. Hendo doesn't seem to inspire or movitate a change in the side when it's needed.

Still want him in next season's midfield alongside Keita and the Ox. He suits our style

So for me to get to where we want to get to neither Matip or Henderson are good enough to be fist team players. Matip as a 3rd choice CB is fine and Hendo as the back up CM is also fine.

Matip is too weak and too passive to be considered top class - he is also prone to lapses in concentration.

Hendo - I don’t care if he is captain or not but again he just isn’t good enough on the ball for me and the next time he does that **** ‘whipped ball’ to the back post (which is usually badly under or over hit) he should be fined. No doubt he’ll do a worldwide v City for an assist.
