That’s it exactly. That level of consistency is insane.
I do wonder how that stacks up against the likes of Rush/Fowler/Torres/Suarez?
Rush 83/84
League - 21
EC - 4
FA Cup - 1
League Cup - 5
Total - 31
Rush 86/87
League - 22
League Cup - 3
Charity Shield - 1
Total - 26
Fowler 95/96
League - 16
FA Cup - 5
League Cup - 2
Total - 23
Torres 07/08
League - 18
CL - 5
League Cup - 1
Total - 24
Suarez 13/14
League - 18
Total - 18
Salah 17/18
League - 21
CL - 6
FA Cup - 1
Total so far - 28
So, with 8 games at least to play, Mo needs to score in 3 more to equal Rush 83/84.
He’s already scored in more games than Fowler, Torres, Suarez in their best seasons and Rush 86/87.Last edited by Mark79; 01-04-18, 02:08 PM..

I honestly think Big Virg could do a better job than the one Henderson does in midfield.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostSo for me to get to where we want to get to neither Matip or Henderson are good enough to be fist team players. Matip as a 3rd choice CB is fine and Hendo as the back up CM is also fine.
Matip is too weak and too passive to be considered top class - he is also prone to lapses in concentration.
Hendo - I don’t care if he is captain or not but again he just isn’t good enough on the ball for me and the next time he does that **** ‘whipped ball’ to the back post (which is usually badly under or over hit) he should be fined. No doubt he’ll do a worldwide v City for an assist.
We could swap our midfield with half a dozen teams in the prem and instantly improve.
Milner is too old now but gives everything,Can is on his way,Lallana is a crock,Wijnaldum goes missing far too often. none of them provide much of a goal threat. Keep Ox and scrap the rest.Glass Half Full

Midfield needs addressing in the summer, obviously Keita is coming in and it seems that Can is leaving. Of the players currently in midfield Henderson is the best IMO. But even with him and Keita we still need someone else. Milner and Lallana will probably be squad players, Wijnaldum I just don't see having a long term future here and I imagine would be the one currently in the squad most likely to be moved on. I still think TAA has a big future in midfield but at present has no first team experience there.Originally posted by fidget View PostI honestly think Big Virg could do a better job than the one Henderson does in midfield.

Too effort..!
He is basically in the running to beat the records of our most prolific players ever. In his first season.Modifying post.

It's the number of league games that he has scored in, not the number of goals he has scored.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostWhy have you listed Salah with 21 league goals?
