Much easier than expected.....Playing well within our already limited lineup, ably assisted by those cowards sitting deep for about 30mins of that half. Could be up by one for two only for Pickford.

Reasonable half given the changes, we've been in control of the game but never really looked like scoring.
It'll be interesting to see what we do second half if the game stays like this, whether Klopp would look to bring some of the senior players on for the last 20 and win the game or stick with what we have and avoid risking anyone. If we go behind I suspect he may bring them on to get something out of the game.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Henderson and Milner carrying our only real threat, Everton should be embarrassed sitting so deep against a depleted side like ours today.
Watching Solanke makes me wonder if we should have kept hold of Origi, the drop off is too big when Bobby doesn't play. Ings wouldn't solve that either IMO.

I thought that was Wijnaldum's best half away from home. Despite the injuries the midfield has been bossing the game. Carrying little threat up front though, Firmino off the bench to put in a Stoke away performance would be boss.Comment
