Despite not winning, there's a number of positives that came out of that -

    1. No injuries (that we know of)
    2. Clyne lasted 90 minutes
    3. Karius' confidence and profile went up another notch
    4. Wijnaldum's best away performance of his Liverpool career
    5. Klavan is fit again
    6. Everton missed several sitters
    7. I get a decent night's sleep
    Was muß, das muß.

Just saw this beauty on GOT.

They are not all that. The main difference between us and them is the managers.

Imagine Allardyce managing their team and Klopp managing ours. The mind boggles.

Missed the game but just watched the (ahem) “highlights” - I echo a lot of what every has said in this thread. We could have been ahead if Solanke was a bit more clinical and they could have scored in the end with Tosun.

No injuries, a point gained and let’s move in until Tuesday night.

I'm coming around to the idea of him being our no 1 next year. Tuesday will be a better test of that theory though.

He is not wrong. The mind does boggle once you have read that post.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Not a great game but given the circumstances, it's probably the best wr could've hoped for. One of tbe most insignificant derbys I can remember.

Thought Klopp did well managing the squad. Good to see Clyne and Klavan back, as long as Salah is okay, we should be able to field a strong team on Tuesday.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Clyne looked good which is nice for Tuesday if we have a spell where they are dominating on the left and we want to change things or whatever. Though he was up against arguably one of the worst footballers to ever play at any level in this country.

I've seen better turn out at the local chippy.

Main thing today, looks like we got through unscathed fingers crossed. 17 games unbeaten now against the blue scum

Everton are ****, I mean they were at home in their biggest game of the season, they haven't beaten us for years. We were under strength and had one eye on the CL game on tuesday, this was their best chance to beat us for ages and aside from the last 15-20 mins we were comfortable and you could argue controlling the game (albeit not winning). Surely their fans must be pissed that they didn't really get up in our faces.
