Despite not winning, there's a number of positives that came out of that -

1. No injuries (that we know of)
2. Clyne lasted 90 minutes
3. Karius' confidence and profile went up another notch
4. Wijnaldum's best away performance of his Liverpool career
5. Klavan is fit again
6. Everton missed several sitters
7. I get a decent night's sleep

Since the 07/08 season Everton have scored a mighty 13 points against us (2 of those fat sams achievements) we’ve managed a slightly better effort of 43 points. (If I can count properly that is)

**** like this pisses me off because the way that you approach a two legged cup tie is different to how you approach league games, and an experienced manager should know this.
