They've been nothing but graceful and classy and complimentary in the build-up.

The cynic in me thinks that's deliberate. City made a mistake and riled the fans. It backfired for them.

Roma haven't made the same mistake.

Its a fascinating tactical battle, against Barca they attacked as a defensive ploy but i think we're better set up to exploit that as we have more runners, are a better counter attacking team. Barca inexplicably didn't use Dembele (who hasn't had the best season tbf).
Bad form in quoting your own post but **** it.

Makes a similar point in that post coutinho we are converting more chances and working the ball into the box more, for the win.

They've even cleverly attempted to unsettle our keeper by confirming our interest in Allison and in the same sentence, told us to do one!

Decent input from Warnock. How much of it has been plagiarised I don't know, as most of the points have already been made, but there is at least a good understanding evident.

I've seen him on TV a few times but haven't paid much attention, but is he a decent pundit?

The only goals we have ever conceded in an Anfield European Cup/CL semi final were scored by Sandro Mazzola in 1965 and a John Arne Riise own goal in 2009.

You only had one job Riise

We'd have made that final if Risse hadn't scored the OG I reckon.

Thats said a CL final v the Mancs back then might have been too much to take

                        CL semi final.

Really does put a tingle down the spine being in this position. Cannot wait for the game to start. Those going to the game tonight will create a wall of noise and the rest of us watching it on tv or on some stream online get to watch the drama unfold.

Treat Roma as a genuine threat and approach the game as if we are taking on the best team in the world and we will win. We will win well imo if we take that approach.

Midfield is, as trite a cliche as it sounds, where the battle will be won. It is the only area on the pitch where I think they have more technical quality than us, but not sure if they can match the effort and desire to win that our midfield can show when on form.

Cannot underestimate their midfield though if they start with Nainggolan, Strootman, and De Rossi. That is a midfield with plenty of technique, physicality, aggression, vision, and experience. If our midfield outplay and outfight those trio then they have nothing to fear from any midfield left in the CL.

We have the better attack by quite some distance and as such not even worth making the comparison in any detail as where their attack is good, our attack is top class.

The defences are not too far apart in terms of quality with our backline just shading it for me. (Alisson and Manolas being the two from their back line that I think are better than their counterparts (Karius and one from Matip/Lovern) on our team ) and our backline has more in it that can negate their attackers than their backline has to stop our attack.

Pretty confident about this game though. Have a feeling that we are again going to make a good team look more ordinary than it is, and score three or four in the process.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

This season, and especially Salah, has seen a massive increase in kids wearing Liverpool tops around the cities I go through most weeks (Galway, Limerick, and Cork), and about 50% of those kids have Salah's name on the back of the tops.

And it is not just replica tops all over the place. Training kids, casual tshirts etc with the Liverbird are all over the place.

Would love to see us go through the sort of form over the coming seasons that turns those kids into life long supporters who get to experience all the ups and downs that come with following a team like Liverpool football club.

cutting out the supply to dzeko will be crucial. vvd will have to prove his worth yet again. we need the full backs to track the runners and not let them move in for the second ball.

                              ****ting it now...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Oh if you have any intentions of watching the 13th Warrior, Thor:Ragnorok or Any Given Sunday, then maybe don't watch the vids and just enjoy brown pants instead.
