There’s a time and a place though. To find out your assistant has had his head turned during the most important run of matches in your career (or since they were at Dortmund) would be pretty disappointing.

I find it hard to imagine a scenario where Klopp is the bad guy here (assuming we take the point of view of looking at what is best for LFC).

If he did not tell Klopp then he ****ed up... but friends forgive one another... Its not as if there was malicious intent by keeping it quiet. I am sure he is not used to being in the media spotlight and maybe thought he could keep it quiet... you cant blame him for wanting a job like that.
