    -------------------

    This is it!

Let's face it, we've been **** in the league recently but this is the last game, out last home game and our last chance to claim a top four place.

I don't care if Lovren scores off his arse, we just need three points!

Poor end to league season. Am sure hughton will want payback after the touchline exchange earlier in the season.

Yesterday's match pretty much went to script for me unfortunately. I'm choosing to look at it as a positive. We could have scraped a draw, secured top 4 and rested players against Brighton. That could have carried our poor form through to the final though, so hopefully now the players will have to find their 'anger' for the last game and get back into our groove.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Looking forward to getting these ****ted and the disappearance of some recently returned posters. They have to chase City around during the week as well while we finally have a weeks prep for a game without a CL game a few days later. Should be beating these comfortably like we did away with Wijnaldum as a centre back. Bit annoying we are in this situation though when officials have stripped at least 15 points off us.

I'll not be taking Brighton lightly but I expect us to be back on it. After a full weeks rest and with the added jeopardy of needing a win I can see us near our best again.

We needed a win in our last few games too. Rest might be key as well as the atmosphere.

+ last chance for Salah to grab one more goal in the league. Preferably more.

I actually agree with a lot of what Jenas says here:

Just one more goal to beat the PL record. That would be nice.

Don’t care about the goal record. 3 points is all that matters, the winner could come off a defenders arse in the 90th minute if it leaves us top 4 and a clear two weeks to focus on the CL final

It is a big game now, and that may be a good thing to focus the players minds in advance of the CL. No going through the motions here, this game is as important as it gets, and we need to forget about the final until it is over.

We also need the crowd to show up. Give the team ultimate backing before seeing them off for the CL final.

If we are rested, and play to our potential we should win this at a canter. Brighton can't have played at Anfield for years, and hopefully will relax a bit now that the stresses of relegation are removed (look at Newcastles results since securing their position) so we should take the game too them.

It is more nerve wracking than it needed to be, but we should be confident. The team have come through bigger challenges than beating Brighton this season, but they need to approach this game with the same mindset we did Man City and Roma.

Trying to imagine how damaging it could be to the mentality to miss out on CL qualification ahead of playing in the final. Of course, some might argue it'd motivate the players - but hey, it didn't work for the EL final a couple year back.
We are not in good form, despite the highs of the last couple of weeks.
Need to do our job and put aside thoughts of Kiev until this game is done.

Are Grujic and Wilson eligible for this game?
                          Another MASSIVE game

We have to go in with our strongest team.

                            Karius
                            Trent - VVD - Lovren - Robertson
                            Milner - Hendo - Gini
                            Salah - Firmino - Mane

If Can and Lallana are fit, I'd give them minutes in the second half, Clyne as well.
                            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

They could be better options from the bench... dunno
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
