I know you shouldn't read much into pre-season, good or bad, but I'm going to take some convincing that Origi is worth keeping and he's doing nothing here to change my mind.

There's a player in there but with a year left on his contract surely he's on the list. Bereft of confidence but if he gets that back he could some other team well.

A touch of Ryan Babel about him - talented, and has all the physical attributes, but not prepared to put himself on the line and go in where it hurts, as you need to if you want to be a top striker. How much of that is down to his injury, who knows?
