Lots of negative comments during this match. it has been more like a normal match thread. The majority of you guys should be well pleased with your detracting warm up for a competative match

Any of you know the definition of support?

To be fair, City reserves look very good and played very good football, just a bit toothless up front. Hopefully a sign of things to come in the season!

Missed the first 30 mins but that was a decent warm up. Can’t read into the result at all against a barely recognised City team but the players looked sharper and the football is getting more fluid. Mo looked to be in great touch too and some of the fringe/youth players are showing excellent potential

The best thing to come out of this pre season so far is the quality of the younger players. I've been impressed with Nathaniel Phillips in defence and obviously the likes of Jones, Ojo and Woodburn. Their opportunities will be limited beyond this American tour though.

Jones has stood out for me. Looks an exciting raw prospect and expect some of the younger players to get a chance in the League Cup this season.

Fact is people slag off certain players for next to nothing, as its the in thing to do. Everybody waiting for a slip from Karius so they can anonimoulsy hammer him. However, at the other end the scale no mention of VVD getting out muscled by Leroy Sane for their goal

To be fair he was more out paced by Sane, got caught out on the turn and couldn’t catch him
