He's nowhere near good enough for the constant hassle of him missing all these games. At least with Godrridge you had one of the best strikers on the planet when he could actually get on the grass.

He suffers from the Lovren curse of bigging himself up in the press also, saw his interview last week about feeling fit and looking forward to the season. He said it was like a new signing for the club (genuinely) given he missed most of last season.

If we were ruthless we’d have sold him this summer, est chance we have fir a few quid for him. I hope he goes on and smashes it this season but I have no faith in him, ridiculously overrated for me.

it's my one main concern I've got left

we have undoubtfully improved the first XI with Alisson/Keita/Fabinho and added some decent quality to give us an extra attacking option in Shaqiri

But with Ox out for the season, we just can't rely on Lallana and Sturridge and anyone who thinks we can is kidding themselves.

The way I see it we are prob 1 or 2 short - another AM (fekir/pulisic etc) and maybe another goalscoring option,

None of which we can really rely on due to either injury issues or just lack of progression/ability.

Frustrating really because if two or three of those stepped up a level we'd be sound

no time for the lallana love in, add sturridge and a few others too.
im not arsed how good they could be,or have been, just get yerself sold already.

klopp sees them in training, theres a good player in there, etc...
possibly, but either playing at 75% so they dont overstretch themselves or always ****ing broken.

There is nothing we can do about their salary and to be honest I have long stopped caring about the money side of the game as its so utterly ridiculous, we are owned by an uber-rich hedge fund in the US and very well run financially, we really do not have much to worry about when it comes to money.

Money aside, you are totally right, unfortunately, Adam and Dan have almost mirror injury records now and I would not be relying on either one of them. They are a bonus, but both could play a combined of 12 games this season and it would not surprise me.
